UAE enterprise AI adoption moved closer to everyday business this week, after Salesforce said monthly usage of Agentforce Coworker has grown 21x in three months. That climb averages 2.8x each month. The service now supports more than 185,000 users worldwide, with teams at The Adecco Group, Accenture, Fulton Bank, and BACA Systems already putting it to work. Figures like these point to a change in behaviour. Companies have stopped treating AI as a side experiment and started handing it real tasks.
For the Emirates, the timing lands close to your bottom line. PwC expects the AI contribution to UAE GDP to reach US$96 billion by 2030, equal to 13.6% of output and the highest relative share of any Middle East country. That makes the pace of UAE AI adoption a national economic matter, not a software preference.
Why UAE enterprise AI adoption is accelerating
The push sits inside a national plan. Under the UAE Digital Economy Strategy, the country aims to double the digital economy’s share of non-oil GDP to 20% by 2030, and Dubai has placed chief AI officers across 22 government entities. IDC expects AI spending across the Middle East to reach US$11.4 billion by 2027, naming the UAE and Saudi Arabia as the fastest-growing markets. Policy and budget now point the same way.
“Business leaders in the UAE no longer ask whether AI works. They ask how fast it can be trusted with real work, under real governance, at real scale,” said Mohammed Alkhotani, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Salesforce Middle East. “Agentforce Coworker answers that question directly. It starts with the customer’s business context, operates within the permissions and controls they already rely on, and goes live in minutes rather than months. For a country that has made AI a pillar of its economic strategy, this is how adoption becomes a measurable impact across government services, banking, retail, and aviation.”
How the AI teammate works and what is new
Agentforce Coworker is built as an AI teammate rather than a tool you have to steer step by step. You give it an assignment. It plans the work, calls in the right specialized agents and workflows, then returns results and recommended actions for your review and approval. Because Salesforce Agentforce is built natively into Salesforce and Data 360, Coworker already reads your accounts, pipeline, cases, contracts, and business rules. It operates within your existing security and governance from the first prompt, so nothing new has to be bolted on.
Salesforce also set out fresh capabilities. Coworker now runs inside Microsoft Teams, letting you delegate work and act on Salesforce context without switching apps. Microsoft 365 connectivity follows later in November 2026 and adds email, calendar, and files around each account. New iOS, Mac, and Windows apps arrive in the same window. Context travels with the task too, through a Google Workspace connection, a History feature, and a Coworker MCP server reaching more data sources this month. Skills turn a proven workflow into a one-line request your team can reuse. From December 2026, scheduled tasks will handle recurring work and a Daily Digest will open each morning with your top priorities.
What it means for your budget and your team
Pricing is where strategy meets the spreadsheet. Salesforce introduced a US$50 per user per month option for Agentforce Coworker, giving finance and technology leaders a clearer way to plan as use spreads from one team to the whole company. Predictable cost removes a common blocker to scaling, and it fits the budgeting rhythm the UAE Digital Economy Strategy encourages.
For banking, retail, government services, and aviation across the Emirates, the takeaway is practical. Real work now moves to AI that respects the rules your compliance team already trusts, with a person signing off before anything ships. That is how UAE enterprise AI adoption turns from a headline figure into daily output. The question for your organisation is no longer whether to begin. It is which tasks you hand over first, and how quickly your team learns to supervise the ones you do.
